EV Charger Installation
Charge your electric car at home, faster and cheaper than a standard power point. We install home EV chargers across the Mornington Peninsula, Frankston and Bayside, and we can set them up to charge from your solar.

- Solar Charging
Charge your car from your own solar
Victorian feed-in tariffs are now only a few cents, so the best place for your spare solar power is often your car. A solar-aware charger watches what your panels are making and sends the spare power into your car instead of the grid.
We have installed chargers like the Fronius Wattpilot, which works with Fronius inverters and batteries to charge from surplus solar. We can also quote other leading home chargers to suit your car and budget.
Thinking about a battery too? A home battery and an EV charger work well together.
- Power Supply
Single-phase or three-phase charging?
- Single-phase (up to about 7 kW): what most homes have. It adds around 40 km of range for each hour of charging, which is plenty for most daily driving.
- Three-phase (up to 11 or 22 kW): faster charging if your home has three-phase power and your car can accept it.
Most cars charge overnight on a single-phase charger without any trouble. We check your switchboard and supply, and tell you if an upgrade is worth it.

- Pricing

We give you a fixed written quote after checking your site. We also install charging outlets for apartments and units where the body corporate allows it.

Yes, but it is slow, usually around 10 to 15 km of range per hour. A dedicated home charger is several times faster and safer for daily use.
With a solar-aware charger, yes. You can choose to charge only from spare solar, or top up from the grid when you need to.
No. Most homes charge well on single-phase. Three-phase only helps if your car can accept faster AC charging.
Yes, where the building and body corporate allow it. We have installed charging outlets for apartments.
Yes. We often install both at once and set them up to work together with your solar.
