Getting the most from a smaller roof

Many Bayside homes are townhouses, units or double-storey homes with limited roof space. To get more power from less space, we:

  • Use high-efficiency panels such as REC
  • Use every good roof face, including east and west
  • Offer all-black panels that suit modern homes

Heritage overlays and planning

Some Bayside streets are covered by a heritage overlay. Rooftop solar is often fine, but in some cases panels that can be seen from the street may need council approval. If your home is in an overlay, check with your council (Kingston or Bayside) before you go ahead, and we can help with the system layout and drawings.
